Bakuman -SKETCH-

Well two weeks ago I finished catching up with the bakuman manga. (AMAZING manga btw, if you haven't read it yet, GO AND DO SO)

Anyway, this is something I've been working on for the past week. (Thats a record for me, usually I work on the pencil in the afternoon and finished the coloring the same night.) But I've put this on hold for a bit because im thinking of entering the Scott Pilgrim contest. (You know the one where you have to create the 8th evil ex? X3) Well I have an awesome idea for it, and since it's due in 2 weeks that has to get done first. Don't worry though, this WILL get done. (Along with my Mashiro cosplay! YESH.)

DESTINY

A collab with the wonderful :iconsuperdecimal: I drew the lineart while he colored.

I really don't know what to write about in this artist comment box without just totally going on and on about the amazing things SuperDecimal has done to it! XD (Like seriously guys, he thought out just about everything when coloring- he made Vancha have a nice tan because he's always out braving the sun, he made his hair more of a light green so it looks like it got naturally stained from sleeping and living out in the wild, Gannen's skin is also done lighter to look more realistic, and not to mention the BEAUTIFUL choice on to how to color Tiny.) Just Awesome! I DEMAND YOU CHECK OUT HIS PAGE RIGHT NOW D< :iconsuperdecimal: GO D<

Well anyway it was real fun working with him, it would be tons of fun doing it again. X3

Darren Shan, Larten Crepsley, Steve Leonard, Vancha March, Gannen Harst, and Desmond Tiny all belong to Darren Shan

Ashley Reference

This is what happens when you don't have a drafting table... The legs become WAY to short.

Well anyway, a lot of people on dA have been asking me to draw up a full-body shot of myself to have for reference for the contest. So, well, here it is! XD

SD1: Benjamin Franklin

WUT.

Ok, there is an explanation to this I swear.

I am going to be starting this new series: School Days. You see, for the past year, I have kept a quote a book to keep all the funny inside jokes in between me and my friends. It was at 3:00 this morning that I got the brilliant idea to make a series out of them. Now, keeping in mind that some might not appear funny considering they are inside jokes, I will alter and tweak them a little so the average joe will be able to enjoy reading them.

This one, however.

I was in english class with Amanda ( :iconyumisennyo: ) and while we were getting ready to write our Do Nows, I continued with my regular routine and asked her the date like I always do. She must have zoned out or something because she responded with: BENJAMIN FRANKLIN!
God... sometimes I just... I just don't know. XD

But I assure you there are tons and tons and funny little things like this in my notebook I'm just dying to share with you. (Most of them star Amanda and I but hey)

CONTEST

This is a little contest I'm having for my watchers on deviantART.

First off, it's not technically a contest. I HATE the idea of choosing who is best at something because there is no such as thing as being better or best in art.

All they have to do is draw me. Thats it! Whats the reward you ask? Every single person that enters will have their entry posted in a huge montage of them all to be uploaded and submitted to several clubs in order to get recognized.

Never Look Back

Man, I haven't drawn these two in a LONG time.

Writing my college essay this weekend really made me realize how much of an impact FMA has had in my life. My hopes, my dreams, and my happiness really all started with me picking up the first volume at Barnes and Noble. Because I just recently realized this, I had a chance to really reflect on 108 and the fact that the series has come to an end... for good.

FMA helped me so much throughout my life. It helped me get away from my own life when I needed it the most, if gave me a dream for the future, and it even helped me make my first friend. I guess you can say that now that FMA has ended, so has a chapter of my life. In a year I am going to be ready to spread my wings and go off to college. As much as it pains me to say it, I don't need FMA any longer. (That doesn't mean I won't buy the new shirts and DVDs and watch it over and over however.) I'm just simply saying that it is no longer needed to keep me going.

I want to thank FMA for always being there for me when I felt lost, for being there during my struggle to become a better artist, for being there when I realized what I wanted to do with my life.

Thank you, Fullmetal Alchemist. Your adventure and your journey have inspired me to keep going.

Never look back.
Always move forward.
Never give up.

Tale as Old as Time

WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN.
Ok... there is an explaination... BLAME :iconkisameisahhhhh:

Well, back in May, we both had Chinese class together... We were having a little DarrenxCrepsley discussion and what disney movies Darren and Crepsley could possible fit into.

:iconkisameisahhhhh:, the evil genius over here said: "OMG BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!"

2 days ago I had this craving to draw a dress and this image just HAD to pop in my head. And it just wouldn't get out! So i kinda had to draw it before I drove myself crazy. <.<>
